Hello Everybody,

I would really appreciate some information regarding a few question I have.

I will briefly explain my case. I have applied for my AOS (plus EAD, AP) in the first week of September 2013 and on 16th November 2013, I received my combo card of EAD and AP.

But when I checked my status for AOS (I-485) the status still says "ACCEPTANCE". Since it has been more than 2 months that I filed my I-485 application, is it not supposed to move to the "INITIAL REVIEW" stage at least? Or is it normal that it still remains in "ACCEPTANCE" status after 2 months of filing my AOS application?

Also as I was checking my AOS (I-485) status, I noticed that I do not have the "TESTING AND INTERVIEW" field/stage. At the moment I only see ACCEPTANCE, INITIAL REVIEW, DECISION, POST DECISION ACTIVITY, CARD/DOCUMENT PRODUCTION.

Some of the people seem to have the "testing and interview" field before the "Decision" field.

Will the "Testing and Interview" field appear when I receive a notice for interview--or is there a possibility that since the "testing and interview" phase does not appear in my status checking page--that there may not be an AOS interview for me?

By the way my case is being processed at the National Benefits Center. In any case I am collecting all the documents that I may need for my AOS interview.

Any insights/information is deeply appreciated.

Thank you very much for reading my post.

The online system sucks. It will probably never go to initial review. Don't try to figure out the dots - they are useless.

Your case is processing normally. Rely on letters from USCIS to know what's going on.

My case was actually in "Case Not found" status until it got approved. The NBC does not update the online system in a reliable manner, so this is nothing to worry about. The "Testing & Interview" will appear once you are in that stage (if you do get there, i.e. if you will have an interview - you may get yours waived since you came on a K1 visa).
