Hello everyone!

My package was returned today saying that it has an incorrect or incomplete guarantee amount.

ON the check I wrote US department of homeland security which was written on their website at instructions and the amount 590$

also did you write anything on section 3?? I was supposed to write my name again there? they crossed that section with red.

The amount is correct, as is the payee.

Which section 3 are you talking about? Which page?

On Section number 3 it's just if you have used other names, so it shouldn't be a mistake if you never used a different name!

I am talking about the first page section3 that's where it's a red line and stamp.I never used other names than the ones I wrote on section 1

According to the instructions you don't have to put anything in there, if you didn't use any other names!

on the bottom of their letter they say that the ins was reorganized so for future applications we should make the checks payable to DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY or US CITIZENSHIP AND IMMIGRATION SERVICES. And I wrote us department of homeland security, but that's the way they have it on the instructions on their website! I am confused

Now that is BS...if you look at the instructions, it still says the old version.

So now what, we all will get it back just because it changed?

I really don't know what to recommend now! I actually wrote it the same way as you did. Didn't have any other information so I guess it is what it is!

Hmmmmm well can be or can't. Did you put the 00/100 after the dollar amount?

What about Date etc?

Did they send the check back?
