I would like to know my cousins wife Is filing for him from iowa he lives in jamaica w.i. when it is time for him to go to his visa interview will he be getting the 10 year or 2 year greencard they been married since January 2013

2 year, since they have been married less than 2 years. If he interviews and enters the US after Jan 2015, then he would get a 10-year card, if approved. I bet they would like him here before 2015.

At the rate things are moving at USCIS they will be hve celebrated their 2 years by the time of hs interview. We shall see,

Dam it takes dat long

USCIS is reporting 12 to 16 months. Have they filed yet? Heck some December 2012's are just getting approvals. So yes its going to be a while.

What affidavit to who? I'm confused? Where exactly are they in the process?

Ok thank u so much oh next question he does have to file the I_485 form right since he not livin in the usa?

No I-485 is for those wanting to adjust status and living in the US. Does not appky to them.

They would be removing conditions 21 months after he arrives. (I-751 form)
