Seminole deputies arrest George Zimmerman

George Zimmerman has been arrested and was en route to the Seminole County Jail, according to Sheriff Don Eslinger.

It's not clear what happened or what crime he's accused of committing, but just before 1:30 p.m., Eslinger confirmed that Zimmerman had been arrested today and was being driven to the county jail in Sanford.

He said more information would be available shortly.

WESH-Channel 2 reported that Zimmerman was accused of domestic violence by a girlfriend.

It's all they play at our gym here too. Once someone changed the channel to ABC or something, and the 80 year olds who were trying to figure out the treadmills got super mad.

It's tricky. My office has 4 people in it. The woman that is our boss, who is actually over him, has talked to me about letting him have it. Because one day he was going off the rails about it and I engaged him. She said it would behoove me to just walk away from it.
