Is Walmart's request of associates to help provide Thanksgiving dinner for co-workers proof of low wages?

Seems these people need to learn how to budget or free themselves from slavery and get a different job. Liberal pitty parades so hillarious.

According to the American Farm Bureau Federation an average Thanksgiving feast for 10-people will cost $49.04 this year, or about $4.90 per person, down 44 cents from last turkey day.

I'm pretty sure that working at Wal Mart is nothing compared to slavery.

Some of the posts here certainly make it sound that way.

Walmart, the mecca for people who value having 'stuff' over having quality. It's a mad world where people place a premium on things being cheap and not on things being good. Yes, it is a good idea to get the best value for your money but just because something is cheap does not mean it is the best value for money. I would rather buy a $12 organic free range chicken once a week than eat preformed chicken nuggets 7 times a week. Try it sometime, you might be surprised at what chicken is supposed to taste like.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

Lost in all the righteous indignation is Walmart's contribution to SCM. Walmart's a case study in SCM excellence. Libs, you may want to read up on that sometime.

Apparently, this is particular to this one store and has been held in previous years, without so much as a whisper of controversy. If you find reports with the store's employees' reactions, a lot of them are upset at the adverse media attention.

Seems like the people least outraged by this controversy are the people who work at that WallyWorld.

Another manufactured non-story.
