It has been over 30 business days since case number was issued and still do not have the official letter from the NVC, they said 10-20 business days. Do we need this letter for the interview, which is in 18 more days? (woo hoo by the way)

Thanks

What you need for the interview is the documentation showing proof of your relationship in case they ask. You will need passport(s), obviously, as well as the interview letter and I would suggest taking either the NOA2 or a copy of the NOA2, and I-134 as well as last 3 years of USC's tax transcripts. No need to have NVC letter.
