Today is Monday.

All day long! :yes:

and even into the night! :whistle:

travel update: I was mistaken abt his flight... it's Friday @ 2am, not Thursday.... he'll arrive New Orleans probably around 5:30pm Friday. :blush: I can hardly wait for 5pm traffic on the Friday b4 Christmas! :dance::wacko:;)

Met briefly in Baton Rouge, LA Nov. 2003 - not available :(

Met again in Baton Rouge, LA March 25, 2005 - 2 souls feel as 1

Sept 17-Oct 3, 2005 Noura goes to Morocco to meet family & friends of Said (informally engaged)

Daily phonecalls, discover internet chatting w/ video cam - OMG!!!

March 25-April 14, 2006 Noura's 2nd trip to Morocco - formal engagement w/ family

April 24, 2006- mailed in K1 Visa package - TSC

Oct 5, 2006 - Interview SUCCESS

Oct 12, 2006 - Called to pick up visa tomorrow!

Oct. 16, 2006 VISA IN HAND!

Dec. 24, 2006 - Said arrives in NOLA, just in time for the holidaze!

Dec. 31, 2006 - OUR WEDDING!!! Ringing in a New Year as husband & wife!

Jan 8, 2007 - applied for SSN

Jan 15, 2007 - recieved SSN

Feb 6, 2007 - checks cashed for AOS/EAD/AP - YAY!

Feb 8, 2007 - NOA1 on AOS/EAD/AP

Feb 14, 07 - touched EAD/AP

March 8, 07 - Biometrics appt in NOLA

April 17, 07 - AP approved

April 19, 07 - EAD approved

You know this past summer I was watching TV in Morocco and I saw a commercial for this show (or a similar version) showing on one of the ME channels. I just started laughing because I thought the world really didn;t need to see this version of us on their tVs .

Today is Monday.

What's happening? Is the Sunday thread popping up ahead of the Monday thread again? :P

Only when people send me sympathy notes for my lack of electricity MBP!! :P

I am happy to say that they made progress. Yep, 7 utility trucks and 3 hours later, they cut down ONE of the 3 trees laying on the power lines. SO, another night away from home. I'm beginning to feel like a hobo!! Where is my stick and bandana?? Oh well, warm house, and dad is cooking again. My co-worker loves the arrangement as her kids are gone for the holidays and she was going to be alone...not anymore...6 new people in her house. And she hates to cook and dad is a chef, so he's taking care of that. My friend is in heaven these days!!

Doodle: Glad to see you stop by. When are you leaving? Soon I think.

Jenn: I'm trying really hard to stay out of Monday and not mess you up :lol:

Charles: You know, I wanted and planned to keep you compnay Thursday night, thinking I wouldn't sleep and would just stay on the net. However, the modem appears to like electricity, so it kept resetting every time the lights blinked and I gave up. Would have been nice to have company during the storm though..and I did think of YOU. ;)
