Maybe this has been posted already but I have been having trouble finding anything on it. Once we recieve word that NVC has our case and we have the #, are we able to schedule for the medical examination immediately? I know the interview is usually scheduled at least a month later but can we get the medical exam done right away? My understanding is that this varies embassy to embassy. Anyone been through this with Manila?

Thanks everyone!

Yes! You can schedule your medical right away however, you have to set an appointment with the USEM for atleast a month to give ample time for the USEM to receive your physical file from NVC. The reason behind is you need the Appointment Confirmation page to show St. Luke's in order to undergo the medical if you haven't receive the letter from NVC yet. We've been through it...

Goodluck!
