Trying to knock me unconscious is not a game I choose to play

If I can the assailant is dead

Maybe he thought the homeless guys was following him, that would make it ok right?

Why do you hate Trayvon so much?

I'm not really sure what you're asking, but if you are asking if I think he had a right to defend himself, of course.

I'm just saying the fact he got punched in the back of the head means he probably didn't even see them coming, or at the very least didn't suspect anything was going on. And I don't want to stereotype, but unless there is a program that hands out free guns to homeless people, I'm not sure that concealed carry would have help him in this specific instance. It may have made the punks think twice, but they are what they are. They picked on someone who was least likely to fight back.

He's clearly talking about TM.

Must be. Isn't everyone? Always? rolleyes.gif

I guess it's easier to answer for someone else rather than when asked a direct question you can't answer. To each it's owndancin5hr.gif

Allowing all people to carry concealed handguns without the need for a government issued permit eliminates this.

No cases in Vermont. After dancing last night we went for a long walk late at night along the lakefront. No one was knocked out, punched assaulted, maimed or killed and it was a very nice evening for November. Incredible.

Because the moment someone is issued a gun, they now become invulnerable to being blindsided, knocked out, and having their gun taken by less than favorable folks. Good thing you guys in Vermont have everything figured out. Actually, carrying a gun should be mandatory. As in, the government should force people to carry.

This topic has nothing to do with Trayvon Martin. It also has nothing to do with gun rights.

Sadly, it has everything to do with moral decay.

The US has a lot of social problems which contribute to delinquent youth. In that respect, it's not that much different to other countries. The exception is that only in the US would someone suggest that guns are a reasonable solution.

I agree, I just called it out since it's obvious that's where it was going.

While I agree with the Trayvon verdict; I don't necessarily view Trayvon as a bad kid. He made a bad decision; I understand why he made that decision, but I still believe it was wrong from a legal standpoint.

This topic is just disturbing. I can't understand at all the cruelty of these people.

I can respect that. I feel that violence wasn't the answer, but I also hold the adult in the situation just as if not more responsible for the decisions he made as well.

So GZ was responsible for TM coming out of the dark, and trying to kill him.

I can't see how he wasn't. TM was walking home from the store. At what point did TM become aware of GZ? When GZ starting following him.

But wait, didn't GZ get out of his car and started chasing him? Yes, he did. If you want to say TM should have ran home, GZ should have stayed in the car.

If TM starting running GZ would have took his truck and cut through people's yard. He thought he was in a bad boys movie. TM who have never got away. Instead of getting gunned down he would have been ran over.

TM was never chased by anyone

More absurdity defending someone just cause they have the same skin tone you do.

So what would you call it? Following? Stalking? Let me know.

Who says defending for skin tone? When it involves people and what is right skin color shouldn't matter.

I saw a white boy get hit by two Hispanic and one whie boy the other day. Standing over him waiting for him to get back up. I stopped my car and got out and told them to hit the road and gave the kid a ride home.

I stay by a school by the way.

Kids are kids. Kids need to be taken care of and as adults if we don't intervene our future is doomed.
