I was going through what I need to file for my Green Card and reminded DH that I need a copy the NOA2 "approval" for the I-129F. The problem is, he can't find it. Is there any way to get another copy in case he never finds it? :help: I'm afraid I won't be able to get my green card now because my husband doesn't know how to put important papers away.

You file form I-824

Fee $200.

I have read posts from members getting an RFE for a copy of the NOA2 form, they send a letter indicating that a replacement is on order and will be provided at the interview, along with a copy the receipt for I-824.

Thanks for the quick response. I can't believe they want 200 dollars for a simple piece of paper. The government is ridiculously money hungry.<_<

Anyway, thank again. Hopefully we can locate the paper so we don't have to fork over an extra 200 bucks.

I agree that 200 bucks is way too much for a paper replacement. That's a trully expensive printer they have there. :P

I think you will find the $200 covers the cost of retrival of the file ie. someone has to go and search for your file and then locate the correct document get it copied and then mail it out.... so its not just the cost of the printer....
