weird status change

Ok so I need to know what this means. Sorry to ask here, some one else has probably asked. But I check my email multiple times a day, and of course today I didn't. So I can't call DOS cus its too late. So anyway,

I got an email at 1:45PM Nov.15, 2013 . It was a status update from uscis. It said that I had been mailed a notice of my approved petition. That if I changed my address to notify them and if I had any questions to contact DOS directly.

So I went to ceac website am d checked my status there. It went from update Nov 7 to update Nov 14. But it still says READY like it has since I got my case number. And then goes on to say that my case is ready for interview blah blah blah.

Does anyone know what this means or what is could possibly mean ? I hate to have received this kn a Friday lol since I read it jus now (11pm) and won't be able to contact DOS till Monday -.-

And by the way I haven't scheduled an interview yet. All I know from NVC is that its at the DR embassy. But they haven't given me a date yet or even sent me the packet that supposably has all tje info of what I'll need for the interview

My case was updated oct 24 and i got my interview date the next week on the 30th.

 

8/22/15 Received notice of interview "call in letter" for September 1st 8am

9/01/15 AOS Interview Houston-APPROVED!

9/01/15 Card in production, Welcome notice has been mailed

9/05/15 Welcome Notice Received

9/08/15 Greencard was mailed

9/10/15 GREENCARD RECEIVED!!!!!!!!

 

ROC

6/2/17 mailed I-751 to csc priority mail

7/1/17 I-751 returned rejected (multiple items)

7/3/17 I-751 mailed again with signature confirmation

7/6/17 second I-751 delivered and signed for by Daniel Manchaca

7/10/17  Check Cashed

7/10/17  NOA

7/22/17  Biometrics letter for 8/2/17

8/02/17 Biometrics appointment DONE

3/05/18 case moved to local office

8/25/18 Extension letter (18 months)

9/29/18 service request submitted

10/06/18 response to service request

10/11/18  approved. No RFE, no interview

10/16/18  approval letter received in the mail

10/19/18 greencard received

My approval date was september 19, and my cita date is feb. 26

 

8/22/15 Received notice of interview "call in letter" for September 1st 8am

Ha! My fiances birthday is feb 23

Does my fiance have to complete DS-160 in order for us to receive our interview date ?

I was going to complete it for him but it requires a picture of him so I don't know if I should or not

No. I have not completed mine yet. On the photo, if you have an extra passport photo, just scan it in and crop it. It has to be passport size. However you will need your fiances cedula number and passport number

Oh ok perfect. I have an extra one of his. And last night he gave me his cedula and passport numbers. Should I wait until I'm closer to the interview to complete it?

I'm sorry for all these questions, by the way.

I know of a few people that have completed it already. Once completed an electronic copy is sent to the embassy, and you will need to print one for your records

Thx for this valuable info. I will add it the NOA2 thread. I was waiting for the latest information from those who have just received their visas. However, there really aren't any new Interview Experiences posted yet.
