got a little bit confused about the link, do I just have to wait for them to process it? how will I be notified?

You have your NOA2, your petition will now be sent to NVC, at NVC the MNL # will be assigned and the petition will be forwarded to Manila, this can take upwards of 8 weeks lately but I would suggest contacting NVC about 2 weeks from when you received your NOA2.

Once you have the MNL # you can complete everything for the actual visa application.

Nice...I don't want to speed up the process though as the estafa case is pending. It's not stated in NOA2 on what to do...but yeah I see instructions from your link...but how will you be notified by NVC in normal process?

If you just follow the "normal" process you will eventually get a letter from NVC once the file has shipped with your fiancee's (beneficiary) name and the MNL # .

Don't worry too much about the 4 month validity stated on the NOA2, once the file is at USEM they will automatically extend the petition up to a year.

>once the file has shipped with your fiancee's (beneficiary) name and the MNL # .< I don't get that part :) I'm not fast in catching up...lol

but I do understand that you will be getting NVC letter 8 weeks from NOA2 (what's in the letter?) and NOA2 will be extended to 1 year of validity once it is forwarded at USEM.

Ok, bad grammar.

Once NVC ships the petition to USEM they will then send you a letter that will contain the MNL # and your fiancee's name (beneficiary), and some basic info. It will probably make mention of your interview date being scheduled for you - which isn't true with the K-1 ;)
