DS-230 packet Philippines

This one is for those from the Philippines.

After 10 days of waiting since the NVC said they sent the Ds-230 still not arrived and they said they may send another if not arrived soon. So i am wondering.,,

I want to send in the DS-230 packet tomorrow via shortcuts.

Is the Cenomar as listed in the Embassy checklist needed for the I-130 or is that for the K1 Visa?

If married ...then is that needed? I guess I want to be sure, no one has ever mentioned that in all the postings.

Can some one fill me in on this and let me know? If it is necessary, I will have to wait again for that to be sent to me..not good if so. On number 9 on the checklist it also says supporting evidence of relationship. Is this done now or at the embassy? I guess I wish there were an updated forum with all these things made clear, without having to wait for the packet to arrive.

I will be putting this on my website for anyone in the future..wish I had that info already.

So anyway...please let me know...always appreciated as usual.

The checklist on the Consulate/Embassy sites take all scenarios into consideration eg those that file the I-130 etc through the consulate (referred on VJ as DCF). When filing everything directly with the consulate, USCIS and NVC don't figure into the filing process of anything. As you are NOT doing DCF you need to submit only what is required to submit to NVC. The evidence of the relationship will be needed at the interview. I have not noted anyone needing Cenomar for the IR/CR-1 but I'm sure if that is incorrect that someone will correct me.

Right now i am at the end of my rope for patience with the Philippines. I just want to see my wife and I hope I can get this done before I go jump off a tall building. You are and were correct Lorelle:

I was able to link from there and it says nothing about any Cenomar being Needed.

It may be required at the Interview, but why does it not say that? I guess after all I have been thru with Immigration and the State dept. I am fed up to my ears with them and their misdirection, incomplete explanations, and side stepping issues. I am thinking about sending out my papers tomorrow nd I hope the Cenomar is not needed. My wife just called me and said they will not even get another copy to her until Jan.03,2007 and then she will still have to send it to me and then on to NVC, what a joke. Well Lorelle...I am at wits end as I said, and I guess I pray to God for guidance as NVC has left those in the Phils in the dark unless someone who has gone there replies. I hope when I wake tomorrow I will have heard from some one who has gone there. So Good Night and God Bless. Randy
