My question to my fellow vjers is that once my fionce recieves the packet 3, how long does she have to gather all the documents and submit the ds-156k back to the consulate of her country? is there a time period in which this must be done?..does the NOA2 expire and if so when?

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR COMMENTS IN ADVANCE..THIS IS THE BEST SITE ON THE INTERNET I THINK...BETTER THAN ANY ATTORNEY...

I believe that she has until the NOA2 expiration date. But please do not wait that long! Did the DS-156k come in her Packet #3? I ask because it normally is included in the Interview packet #4. Anyway, get the forms completed, look them over carefully and return to the Consulate. You'll sleep better!

The NOA2 has an expiration date. It is valid for 4 months if I remember correctly. The validity period is on the NOA2.

You're supposed to have the interview date before that 4 months expire. If the consulate don't schedule one until then you'll need an extension.
