Anyone tried rescheduling their interview? Did they send you a confirmation email that you can show to the guard at the embassy? Im trying my luck reschduling my interview but the only available date is nov. 19

USCIS:

July 16 2012: I-130 sent

July 18 2012: Priority date

July 3 2013: NOA 2

NVC

July 17 2013: NVC received my case file

July 19 2013: case number and IIN received, ds-3032 sent

July 26 2013: ds 3032 and AOS invoice fee received. AOS fee Paid

July 29 2013: AOS package sent

July 31 2013: AOS package received at NVC

Aug 01 2013: AOS entered for review

Aug 02 2013: ds 3032 accepted

Aug 03 2013: IV invoice fee received via email and paid; Sent IV package to NVC

Are F2-A's allowed to reschedule on your own? Anyhow, if thats the case, reschedule fast because slots are gone in a blink of an eye. VERY risky to reschedule appointments. Cancel the one you have, reschedule the new one fast, and towards the end, send the appointment confirmation to your email. Print that and show that to the guard when you go for your interview.

I know you can reschedule your interview if there are still available slots. But, you have to check your case file if the embassy already got it.

May i ask if you had a particular strategy on how you got to find that date? or is it just random checking? i am checking the website since earlier and it only shows jan 14 as the earliest....i am thinking if there is a specific time i should check the site to get lucky like you did luv.gif as we are in desperate need of a november interview date.

any tips would be highly appreciated.idea9dv.gif thanks again:)

Its purely ramdom check. As i posted this thread the earliest is nov. 19 (too early for me) then after few hours i checked it again and the earliest is nov. 27 so i got it and rescheduled in an instant. Slots got fill up easily and then theres a limit on page visit so i suggest you check it every few hours. Goodluck :)

I don't know that you are allowed to re-schedule your interview, your interview was scheduled by NVC. I seriously doubt you can do an online rescheduling like the K-1 does. (yes I know YOU can go through the motions online, but I don't think USEM will honor/accept your rescheduling)

I will try calling us embassy on monday to confirm this. I have my doubts too then I ask some friends f2a/f2b who successfully rescheduled their interview online and they were entertained on the rescheduled date.

So if ever I wont be entertained on nov. 27 i can still continue on my original schedule right?

Aug 14, 2013 - Got the Invoice # via PHONE

Aug 15, 2013 - Send my DS-3032 via Email

Aug 16, 2013 - AOS Pay
