I'm confused by this question on the slec.ph online registration form:

Interview Source

There is a drop down list with the options:

  • US Embassy
  • NVC
  • Call Center
  • Online

And underneath it says: Where was your Visa Interview Appointment set?

Here's the form, it's in the first section: http://www.slec.ph/us/registration/

Is this asking who set up the interview, or who will conduct the interview? We got the interview date from NVC, and obviously she'll be interviewing at the Embassy. Which one should I select?

Your answer is NVC because NVC was the one who set your interview schedule.

I was thinking the same. In the confirmation screen they display this answer as:

Interview Date: 12/02/2013 (NVC)

...Just a confusing way to present things. But you must be correct, because NVC doesn't give interviews as far as I know.

Thank you both.

I interpret that to mean who set.... so that would be NVC in the case of an IR/CR-1
