I had my wife's EAD was approved 5 days ago but in card production stage, and her I-485 is now interviewing stage. It just seems that those dates are so close together, that it was pointless to approve EAD few days before interviewing stage. The EAD card may not arrive until after the interview.

Either way, I'm very excited with this progress. :)

When you call just choose the interview option and when she picks up ask her a lil bit about your testing abd interview then ask her is she could sexpedite your AP.Make an infopass too, thats what i would do.Good luck.GO to October AOS filers forum and tell us your progress. My infopass is for next weekClockWatch2.gif

I'm on a testing and interview stage as well and I got the email alert yesterday that my interview had been scheduled next month. However, our I-130 is still on Initiate review, so I am assuming it wouldn't change until the final decision is made.

The I-130 is unlikely to change before the interview. This is normal.

EADs are processed by a different part of USCIS, so you cannot read anything into when they do or do not approve the EAD, since it's a completely different set of people adjudicating that petition.
