At "thedude6752000", you seem to have anger issues; whatever that is, try and hold your peace. I find it hard to believe for someone like yourself who has been blessed to be in this country goes further to insult and call the country "this rotting cesspool we call America!". Please take some time and meditate on your comments posted here: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/463001-whats-wrong-with-uscis/

If India was that good, why did you move here? No one is holding you from returning to India and make a life there with your spouse.

Remember that bringing your spouse here is not a right, but a prividlege. USCIS reserves the right to deny your petition, even if your documents are correct. Your hatred language for this country is ground enough to consider you an enemy and deny you petition.

You barely filed four days ago and already expressing this anger; I wonder what or how you will be or bahave when you wait 7 months and 13 days like some of us have been waiting?

Relax and everything will soon pass before you know it. Good luck in your journey!

Things have been f'ed up since DACA apps were allowed to go through, circa 15 AUG 2012.

That was so long ago though. You'd think they'd have cleared the DACA backlog by now. How long can it take? And why isn't it having a secondary affect on I-129Fs? Makes no sense to me.

thedude and en-oh-eh-to now YOU GUYS ROCK!

We have a solid proof it's all because of DACA. To those who haven't seen it

Importance: High
Please see the following information which describes the workload shift from the NBC to the field. NBC is seeking to bring on additional staff to assist with their increased workload due to DACA. As they gain more staff, the NBC will resume its current case preparation processes and take back the adjudication of the stand-alone IR I-130 petitions. The timeframe that they will resume this work is unknown at this time.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

That's terrible. So does anyone have an estimation on how long this backlog will be in effect and how long we'll ultimately have to wait for an approval? Will it just keep ballooning and getting worse and worse, until the wait time for NOA2 is 2-3 years like it used to be?? :(

It did have an effect on I-129Fs. CSC was at a standstill for months on end (I believe it was August 2012 through roughly March/April 2013) where nothing got processed due to huge backlogs with DACA. VSC also slowed down almost to a halt with a huge processing time until they decided to divert a chunk of the VSC workload to TSC and re-open TSC for 129Fs. Then they re-allocated workload to get through the backlog of I-129Fs.

Also to the rest of you - I would be very careful signing your name or personal information to anything that this guy is putting out. Insulting the country and the US government could put red flags against your file.

OP - If you hate the US so much, move out of it and go to India. It can't be that bad if you're bringing your partner to the USA.

Listen, i got on board with the letter that was supposed to be going out this past Tuesday. And I agree with you all on a need for our voices to be heard. But I am NOT at all interested in providing mine and my spouses personal information to someone like "thedude" who has viamently spewed his anger and threats and voiced his disdain about the US here, then apologizes for having a bad day. Thats just a wee bit unstable behavior for someone trying to lead the charge on good intentions. I have no interest whatsoever in adding myself and spouse to a video, letter, thrashing to the govt, etc in this context and risking someone, perhaps "thedude", skewing my intentions when he ramps back up and all of this looks like crazy just took over, and then my application getting flagged for national security reasons because crazy horse there had another bad day and I signed something that said I agreed with him. I agree with the reasoning behind this movement...its not about the reason or the cause...its "thedude" who has already set himself up for question by those of us on VJ who clearly as frustrated and disappointed but arent angry participants. Good luck to thosenof you who follow his lead...be cautious or you'll be sitting in line another year from now while the govt scrutinizes your applications because of guilt by association. Just bizarre behavior for someone who's chosen to get in the system to petition for their spouse and three days later is a timebomb. I cant risk my application, my wait time or my spouses opprtunity to be here with me because I made a bad judgement call. After all the reason we have this tight of an application process in general if because of people who made bad choices for our country who were angry at our govt and went beyond idol threats. Feedom of speech is our right for certain but I choose not to be associated with threats and bad mouthing my country...and the stupidity of doing so while stamping a petition asking to be granted imigration passage in to the same country. Like i have this visual of "thedude" standing in front of this group being all cheerleader with his fingers crossed behind his back. Thats all I'm sayin. Not interested in getting on board this crazy train.

I have borne a lot of insults and personal attacks against me here and I am not responding to them as a matter of principle. To my detractors I would concede that I am too quick to anger and I am prone to inflammatory language, and in so far as I have caused offense to anyone, or made it appear that I am anything but a loyal, law-abiding citizen of this country, I apologize.

That being said, I do need to respond the libelous slander here. I am certainly guilty of saying some things which are not very nice about the US, but I have NEVER threatened it or anyone else. Venting anger about your government, country, or its policies is not a crime, making threats against institutions or people is. I appreciate JA_martinez’s intention to attack my arguments by painting me as a wild-eyed fanatic (since there is apparently little he/she has to say on the arguments themselves), but I cannot abide the accusation that I am a dangerous criminal. Once again, I have never threated the United States or anyone in it, unless you consider my leaving this country to be a “threat”, which could only be true if my presence here were so vital to this country that it would collapse without me. While I appreciate the flattery, I think that in that case the JA_martizen gives me entirely too much credit.

This coming from the guy whose post I commented on a few weeks ago because he went on another rant because he hates this country so much. I will say again what I said in the other thread. If you hate it so much here please feel free to move to your wife's country, and don't let the screen door hit you on the way out.

Seriously dude you just applied 4 days ago. And once again I will say, the people who work for USCIS can only work with the resources they have. End of story. It isn't as though they are delaying cases just to piss people off, they Are under staffed. Plain and simple.

But the point of people making petitions and video's etc is to raise attention to the problems at USCIS, it's not being under resourced that makes them keep everyone in the dark when they could be apologising and letting us know what they are doing to alleviate the problems. They cashed everyone's cheques fast enough! Speaking for myself I don't expect someone to wave a magic wand and approve all our petitions, what I want from USCIS is some accurate information (because all we have atm is a leaked email, conflicting messages from tier 2 staff and the knowledge that they are transferring some petitions to local offices) about what it is doing and how it's going to deal with the backlog. Hopefully if they receive enough enquiries from politicians, peoples lawyers and petitioners we may actually get this.

Just as a note to my detractors, I was born in this country to white parents, so the "go back to India!" shows more than a bit of prejudice on your part. Also if you take the time to read the post that apparently everyone on this forum read, I said that I would prefer to live in a DEVELOPED country other than the US. In particular I listed Germany, Britain, and Canada. I am under no delusions about life in most other countries in the (developing) world and I am very aware of the fact that the quality of life of most people is better here than in India. If you could keep your hateful attacks on me personally factually accurate I would appreciate it.
