Finally! I have been trying to post on here for a week or so. I'm a little concerned about not having yet received NOA 1. On average, how long does it take? I sent the 129 F packet in 3 weeks ago tomorrow. I noticed by looking at people's time lines that it didn't seem to take this long for most others. I am really hoping that it isn't lost somewhere between GA and TSC. Any ideas????

When I was checking NOA1 timelines, it was about 10 days on average (mine was 4 days after the package was delivered to the TSC). Are you sure the package was delivered - did you have a way to track it?

Did you check to see if they had cashed the cheque yet? On the back of it will also be your case # assigned where you can track it online. 3 weeks seems like a long time... see if the cheque has been cashed first.

Whenever we send anything in, we get tracking on the package (with signature) so we know when it is delivered.

The check has not yet been cashed. I didn't even think about having it sigend for when I sent it. I can kick myself now for not doing that. Lesson learned. I have called the 800 number and after an hour and 20 minute wait, I was told to allow 4 weeks. So, I am still waiting. I am just thinking how am I going to get him to sign again and resubmit in a timely manner. Snail mail will take forever. It seems as though it takes about 3 weeks to get here from Morocco.

If you need him to sign papers again get him to FedEx or UPS it over to you. It's expensive, but worth the piece of mind. Same with submitting documents to the service centres. Definitely get some sort of tracking on the package (signature required or not) so at least you know when it was received.

Hopefully the service centre is just slow with opening and putting things into their system. Good luck!
