221g white slip for silly reason!

My fiance got a '221g' white slip as his passport photo was too faded for the immigration people!protest6wz.gif

He had sent it last Friday. All they need to do is 'stamp' the visa. Thats it!

Does anyone know how long it takes? I heard people get 221g for also missing documents. But we had everything.

Just his passport needs to be looked and stamped.

those pictures need to be clear because they need to go in the passport book and on the visa they use a machine to do that and the pictures need to be clear.

I dont' think that is a silly reason at all. In fact, it was rather preventable

I don't think it was silly either, though I can understand your frustration. Those photos are pretty important, so I can understand why they felt they needed new ones.

02/14/2014 - Case shipped to Embassy, where it waited for over a year at my request                                 11/07/2015 - AOS approved (EAD and AP had already been approved) - there was no interview

05/21/2015 - Interview - Approved

02/05/2021 - Oath Ceremony
