Hi everyone! I'm just preparing our civil documents right now. Something just cross my mind if we will be having a problem dealing with the illegitimacy of our son? Me and my husband(his father) were not yet married the day he was born. My husband just ones came home and we got married. Now, the nvc is requesting for our civil documents(mine and my son) I would like to ask if they will accept my son's birth certificate even if our date of marriage is not written there? But the acknowledgement part was signed by my husband. Thankyou for your comments and opinions.

Aug. 21, 2013 = Approval (NOA2)

Oct. 10, 2013 = Case received at NVC

Oct. 15, 2013 = Case Number & IIN received via mail

Oct. 21, 2013 = AOS Fee Bill received & Paid

Oct. 29, 2013 = IV Fee Bill received and Paid

He doesn't have baptismal certificate. (Regious matters) What other documents must i bring during the interview? Thanks.

I'm not sure how it is for those who doesn't have baptismal cert. Anyway, for evidence of relationship, bring pictures of your hubby and your child together on the interview. I believe they won't give us any problems. Whatever comes up, we will be able to prove that the baby belongs to us.
