Okay heres the problem, when my fiancee went to do her interview, we submitted everything that they wanted, even got fingerprinting done!

Why now do they send us this email?

I am completely confused and frustrated because this will only cost more money to travel back to Guangzhou, rent hotel and go do as they requested!! I'm bummed out ! After we made sure to submit everything, they took the passport, they took photos, they took all notarized documents and now this email requesting to return? What's going on here?

Has anyone ever recieved anything like this before? !

It looks like we are only require to return to the US Consulate to do fingerprinting and nothing else since it seems they still have all the required documents. I already emailed the Consulate in hope they reply to me within the next few days on why we need to return to do fingerprints when indeed they were done during the interview! It's frustrating because this will only cost more money than it needs to be but worst of all, take more time.

I don't know if anyone else have had this issue before, but if someone has, I would like their input.

It's quite frustrating, They did all this at the interview and yet now they want her to return to do more fingerprinting... it just boggles my mind. I emailed the US Consulate in hope they will reply within the next few days and tell us not to go because they've made a mistake(But that just seems like wishful thinking) We probably will have to submit to their requests and end up spending more money on flight tickets to go there for a day and return.
