Vaccination supplement

We found a civil surgeon that said they would do the vaccination supplement for $25.00. And $80 for varecella test, if needed.

My wife went to her primary care doctor, because our insurance would pay for tests and vaccinations. She took all of the results, showing that she needed nothing to the civil surgeons office. They knew that she only needed the vaccination supplement completed, and not an exam, as this was done in her home country a few months ago on a K1 visa.

The people at the civil service office x-rayed her and charged her $100 for "INS exam". She told them that she had exam and xray in Brazil. The women that took the $100 cash, put it in her pocket. And they still didn't give my wife the supplement.

I am going back with her this week and demanding the supplement and her $75 back.

What can people do that are being taken advantage of by the civil surgeons/their staff?

Sounds pretty darn shady. I would definitley find someone at the civil surgeon's office to discuss the matter with!

You can also complain to the ombudsmans office... not sure on the address though...

It seems to be the norm that the civil surgeons here just rip you off something fierce. A good civil surgeon is worth an honourable mention on these forums! sad but true.

Get back there and have it out with them...

THAT IS SO SAD.

the best thing is to contact USCIS and the 'OFFICE OF PROFESSIONS' and lodge complain about the said doctor.
