NVC letter in hands

I had already received an email but I got the letter in the mail yesterday with all the information. Still says READY online. I emailed DR consulate and they said just because I have my SDO number doesn't mean I'll get an interview date -.-

Apparently it will continue by mail I guess. They also made me believe that my case is still at NVC. But why would it still be there if I got my number and had no AP ...

NVC told me it was in DR....so maybe it jus hasn't arrived at DR.

Which ever the case, I feel its moving forward and I will start gathering information.

I will again ask what I need from my mother . She is his co sponsor for the affidavit.

Thank yu all for your time.

If the case says ready, then it is at the dr. The embassy just tries to tell you things to stop you from bugging them. I sent them emails for 3 weeks until i got my date. I also called dos on a daily basis.

You tell them you'd like to kno if ur interview date is available,They will ask u typical questions like the case number which is ur SDO# ur name, beneficiaries name and DOB. They will have the date trust me i found out my interview date the same day it was assigned i trust them more. I didn't bother in emailing the embassy or calling them once.

Filed: K-1 Visa Country: Pakistan
Timeline

My case has taken at least 4-5 weeks, since the embassy received it. But the status still says Nov 5th, 2013.

I guess calling the DOS is my next option. Thank you, Nette.

Hey guys, so I got an email from USCIS saying that today they mailed me a notice about my approved petition.

But that seems like the same email I got the day it was approved Oct.24.....

I went on ceac and it says READY like it always has but the last update was Nov14.

I wonder what this means....does anyone know ?

And amazingly I checked my email too late to call DOS. I usually check my email multiple times a day but didn't today
