If you married and returned home to wait for a CR1 you did fine. Otherwise you committed immigration fraud by using a B1B2 to enter the US with the intent of staying Possible penalty denial and a lifetime ban

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

You have no evidence that anyone committed fraud. You seem to like scaring people. What is wrong with you?

It is still fraud to do it. Personally I think this type of person is the very type we don't need for residents ( only one step above illegals ) Same sort of people that think welfare and tax fraud is OK as long as they don't get caught. This site is supposed to give people advise on the legal way to immigrate. Entering with the intent to stay is legal . Posting that you have done so on a site monitored by immigration is stupid.

That's my point, the poster didn't post any such thing. Stop jumping to conclusions and judging people when you don't have a clue about their situation.

When someone "waits 60 days to get married " it is because some shady lawyer told them to wait that long so it wouldn't look preplanned under the supposed 30 60 90 rule. So they don't have to come out and say they are committing fraud they provided the statement that lead to that conclusion . Just because you feel you are supporting the people that feel self entitled to commit fraud does mean doing so is moral or right. Also giving advise that it is fine to do so is against the terms of this site and can lead to sever negative outcomes.

Did you ever think maybe she entered without intent and then they decided to get married and they consulted a lawyer that told them to wait 60 days? She satisfied the CBP officer at the time of her entry. Who are you to say what went on there? And even if there was intent, that's still not enough for denial of AOS.

When I proposed to my wife 2 months after she was here, we consulted an immigration attorney before getting married and the first words out of her mouth was that we should wait a minimum of 90 days before getting married, so it doesn't appear that we had pre-planned it. So stating that fact means absolutely nothing.

Based on what the op wrote, there is absolutely no evidence of fraud, just your speculation based on one sentence. Your impulse to jump to conclusions and point fingers is what leads to negative outcomes. Who are you to judge what is to be considered quality people based on a small paragraph written on the internet? I'd like to see the skeletons in your closet.
