What if your fiance' lives in an affected area like Tolosa? she cant get out... she was supposed to have her medical this week and an interview on the 27th of this month... what next? any help will be very helpful!!! thank you!!!! Ron

If she must postpone taking the medical, then the interview will need to be postponed.

She lives in Tolosa, the roads are still blocked and they still have not had any type of relief yet. I have only heard from her through a friend. Her friend text me saying she is ok and her situation there. She is really worried because of the situation... she was supposed to fly to manila last sunday on the 10th. But she couldnt because the airport in Taloban was destroyed...

and all of the cell towers and the power is out! the Government there says it will take about 2-3 months before the power is restored to many areas...

I'm terribly sorry, and hope for the best. If I were you, as hard as it may be, I'd worry less about the interview right now and more about her well being. I'd postpone it for her. You can do it on your end simply via the website that was used to schedule the interview, provided you have/can get the login info from her. If you don't have it, you can call the embassy to have it rescheduled. Then once you do that, just focus on her for now, as much as you can, and give her whatever support you are able to.

wow... you really think im like that? she told me in a text that SHE was worried about her medical and her interview... I told her that i didnt care about all of that and just that she is ok there... but i told her that i would find out something for her.

And... i am not able to send her money because. of all the power and most of the buildings are destroyed. She wouldnt be able to get it...
