Hi,

My son and I are currently in Montreal right now and have done our medical (picked up results today)..my first question is...

1. If I was unable to provide complete vaccination information during my medical but during bloodwork was given

2 vaccines, does this mean those are the only ones they see that I would need?

Regarding Interview questions (we will have ours on friday). What are the typical interview questions they ask? Will they also interview my son?

Thank you.

I think that's pretty much for the vaccinations. If there were any more they would have informed you.

For interview little anxiety is natural. Just organize your papers in clear plastic folders. Read about recent interview experiences on VJ. Interview questions differ from case to case but most of them revolve around individual situation specially if your visa changeability is not Canada. (Visa requirements are based on country of birth not country of citizenship). I will not worry too much at this stage. Just go over all the information and time lines of when, where, what etc. If you have printed the completed application forms or photo copied information you provided to NVC and Consulate just go over it. Organize yourself, get a good night sleep and take your time before answering any question. Collect your thoughts don't rush yourself in answering more than what is asked smile.png

For kids I have read there is not much they ask or quiz just hello etc. Depends on the age of kid as well. My case is at NVC and will be going through Medical and Interview in Montreal as well in near future with my 6 year old. I will be interested in getting some information about how much time I should plan for me and my son's Medical in Montreal as well as interview. I will be flying out of Calgary once am done with NVC.

Good Luck on Friday please leave your interview experience once you get time.

For the CR1, is that the type of visa that indicates both petitioner and beneficiary (ies) are already living abroad? And K3 is where the petitioner is a us citizen and lives in the states whereas the beneficiary (ies) are living in another country?I'm a little confused on the CR1 and K3.

I was reviewing the questions for both and the CR1 asks more on the joint bank accounts etc. The K3 questions are more on the basics, like how and where did you meet etc (nothing regarding joint stuff).

Thanks.

CR1 and K3 are both if the beneficiary lives abroad (where the petitioner lives makes no difference to the visa type, just to the affidavit of support.)

Also I was never asked any questions about joint bank accounts etc at my interview. They wanted to know how we met, how we kept in touch, who was at the wedding, how often we visit etc...

All married couple interviews are in Montreal (it's possible for a k3 to go through vancouver but there hasn't been a Canadian K3 in 3 years.
