Hi,

I have recently had my i-129f approved and will be soon(ish) be heading for an interview in London.

I previously worked in America on a H2b and which was then extended using a B1. However after returning to the UK I found out from my boss that the extension had been rejected and I had therefore overstayed by 4 days (nothing i could have done about it) as you have 24 hours to leave after receiving the letter.

My question is this when filling in forms do I mention that i have overstayed or not? Will they know or not? There is nothing that i could have done about this situation I just want to know what is best to put on the forms or if i am asked about it at the interview.

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks.

Harpa, can you elaborate on why the 4 day overstay won't matter for the interview?

I think I may have overstayed a previous J-1 visa by approx 24 hours past the "30 day grace period"

I'm wondering if this would adversely affect my fiance's petition for our K-1 visa?

Thanks
