Travelling back to UK with new Permanent Resident Card

Hey all,

My wife and I are travelling back to the UK from the States for the holidays. Our AOS application was successful, so I am a US Permanent Resident.

I was just wondering about what I need - obviously my passport and Green Card. Anything else I need to present?

Returning to the States, what about the forms and stuff I need to fill in on the plane over?

And what about customs coming back, can I go through that quicker checkpoint for US folks?

Any help would be really appreciated, thank you in advance!

Permanent residents and US citizens can go through the same checklines at the US POE. That much I do know!

And I'm pretty sure all you need is your passport and green card, but lets let someone else answer that for sure.

All you need is your ticket and your green card. Just as a safety net you can always take with you your marriage certificate.

All you need is your Greencard and your passport.... you only need your marriage certificate if your greencard is in your married name and your passport is in your maiden name....

On the plane you only need to complete the US customs card one for the whole family... you do not need to complete an I-94... once you are on the ground and get to immigration you go through the Citizens/residents line... just present your greencard and passport to the officer they will scan the greencard may ask you how long you have been out of the country and that is about it....
