I'm about to book a flight for my fiancee from Manila to Tokyo to JFK with Delta airlines. Has anyone had any recent experience with this? Should I send her a copy of my CC and Drivers License? I want to make sure she doesn't have any problems at NAIA. Thanks everyone!

The airlines I have delt with have said that they can ask for a copy of the credit card used to purchase the ticket along with Government ID of the cc owner. A drivers license didn't work in one case but the BIO page of my passport always works so that is what I recomend for ID.

Good luck.

emailing a copy of the CC and driver's license is a good idea. One other that I have read of is driving out to the airport to the ticket counter with your CC and ID and the flight itinerary then it is all handled.

Just got off the phone with Korean Air about this, since my fiance's father purchased the tickets and is in the Philippines, I have no way of showing them his CC. I was advised to let him email them the pictures of the CC (back and front), and the bio page of his passport, along with my son and I's name, ticket number and departure date. You might wanna ask Delta in the PI their company email so it goes directly to them.

On October 2013, our I-129F Refused under 221(g)

So our son and I went back home to the PHL..

My fiance purchased my ticket with Delta through the "booking agent"(online website) Orbitz. I called Delta about this and the lady said if you buy the ticket through a booking agent, credit card and ID of the person that purchased it isn't needed anymore. But if you're buying it from them directly, then those 2 are still needed at NAIA. Either way, I'm bringing the copies to be on the safe side.

A little over two years ago Delta required the purchaser to go to an airport to confirm the credit card and the ticket purchase.

Thats exactly what I did. I went to Philadelphia airport Delta ticket counter and presented my CC and ID. She made a note on the account that no CC is required in Manila. So relieved :) Thanks everyone.
