Congrats on the recent EAD approvals. We received a message today stating my wife's EAD was ordered as well. Our I-485 and I-130 status didn't change, but the EAD approval gave us some much needed relief. Our RFE had me very nervous.

Yay, my EAD is in production. NOA 1 was Nov 12. Let's see what's next. We will probably be moving in April. I'm guessing our file will then be sent to the new local office, right? Hope everything goes well with that.

My i485 is still in acceptance since Nov 12th does anybody think that's normal? Or should I give them a call to find out what's going on?

You would think it would at least be in initial review. Have you received a biometrics letter yet? May not hurt to call.

That's what mine had up until T&I. Your timeline shows your biometrics done, so all you do now is wait...

It's normal, mine says the same. The online system isn't very reliable. From what I've read the status might not change at all (ever) or it won't change until you're approved (and skip any status update that's in between).

Our I-485 was placed in Testing and Interview status this morning.

Just a suggestion...When you receive a message that a card/document has been mailed out make sure you copy the tracking number upon receipt. Last night, we received an update with a tracking number for my wife's EAD, which we tracked right away. This morning we received a message stating that an EAD approval letter was mailed out, which wiped out the message with the tracking number. Hope this helps.
