My AP and EAD have been pending for 106 days. I'm thinking about doing an infopass appointment.

Does anyone have any experience about infopass, does it work?

I have called USCIS almost every day for the past 2 weeks, but they dont do anything about my case.

We got a letter a few days to say our case is being considered for interview waiver and that we will likely have to wait at least 6 months due to delays. Meanwhile, I still have no EAD/AP (despite the fact it has been approved for nearly 2 months now) due to the fact that USCIS and/or the post office keep losing it in the mail dry.png and every time I have to phone back they say I need to wait 30 days before they'll try and send it again. What is this madness? Third time lucky I guess.. Give me strength! girlwerewolf2xn.gif

We got the same letter... It's nice to know we might not have an interview, but COME ON - SIX MONTHS?!

I only received mine a few days ago. However it's not because it wasn't processed, it's because it kept getting lost in the mail. (So to clarify it was approved around 2 months ago, but it was sitting around somewhere). However in your case I would definitely ask for an info pass appointment, you're well outwith the reasonable timeframe for processing a TEMPORARY work and travel permit at this point. Get on the phone to USCIS and ask them to get it sorted! It sounds like they haven't even attempted to process it so far.. Urgh. Although the online status is not always correct, as I'm sure you're aware.

Phone a Tier 2 person at USCIS and see what they have to say. Good luck!

We just made an info pass appointment for next week! I have called USCIS everyday for 2.5 weeks but every time I hear the same thing. They say "it says here that they are looking at applications from nov 22nd, so your case is still within the normal processing time"! It makes me so mad! And that is way they cant send a service request or whatever they call it..... It is just unbelievable!

How do I get to "a tier 2 person" on the phone?

Thanks for you help!

The exact same thing happened to me. The EAD/EAP combo card took about 2-3 weeks to arrive - I was tracking it on the USPS website and it didn't move for 2 weeks, so I assume they lost it and found it again later? When I called USCIS they told me to wait 30 days from the date of dispatch and then they could look into sending out a new card...not overly helpful.

I have also received the letter informing me that I am being considered for an interview waiver and it could be 6 months. I expect NYC is slooooow so this is pretty frustrating, but I have the combo card so at least I can work/travel.

my field office is Atlanta so I'm preparing myself for the whole 6 month!

@annerobin: why do you need green card to go to college?

I don't necessarily need the GC to go to college but we cannot afford to pay international student tuition so I have to wait. For some colleges/universities you need to have your greencard for at least one year to be considered "in-state".
