Sorry guys! Im a lil lost! How can u track the letter with the ead? My case was approved on the 17th and i didnt receive anything yet!

Was it approved on the 17th or did you get the email that USPS picked it up and it's now on its way to you? Once they pick it up you get an email with a tracking #.

Dec 6, 2011: We met online

Jan 4, 2012: We became a couple

March 30, 2012: Met in person

October 5, 2012: We got engaged & NOA1 date

April 10, 2013: NOA 2

April 24, 2013: Email with FRN case number received, petition is on its way to Frankfurt

April 30, 2013: Medical in Frankfurt completed

May 3, 2013: Packet 3 received

May 23, 2013: Packet 3 sent back

June 4, 2013: Packet 4 received

June 11, 2013: Interview ->approved

June 17, 2013: Visa in hand!

July 3, 2013: POE

July 17, 2013: WEDDING <3MARRIED TO MY HERO, MY SOLDIER, MY EVERYTHING :)

Actually I believe you need to check your status online and get the tracking number from there. The email doesn't contain the actual number. sorry for the wrong information, I never had to check mine, just read the email and noticed that it said something about a tracking number lol

Thanks for your help. My case online doesnt come with a travking number though!

It is alright, im just gonna wait! I think it normally only takes like 1 week since you get approved and you actually receive the mail... I can be wrong though... Im just at the limit of my patience! LOL

hi there - Mine first changed to card is in production and then a day or two later, it changed and added the tracking number. It then changed again to confirm that it was delivered to the address on file. I think you are right though - you will get it soon. :)

Some people on here already have dates which is awesome...I understand New York is one of the busier offices so it could take a bit longer for me, but hopefully not too long! I am bored of being in limbo...

Some people on here already have dates which is awesome...I understand New York is one of the busier offices so it could take a bit longer for me, but hopefully not too long! I am bored of being in limbo...

I really think it varies...we filed close to mid October and while many October filers have interview dates or got the waiver letter, we have nothing so far since getting our EAD/AP before Christmas.

Well, good news on both fronts now, after the I-485 status updated to an interview date, today we got the online notification that EAD and AP were approved. EAD says card production, AP says Post Decision approval -- so it looks like we will have the EAD in hand before the interview, but only for about 3 weeks. It becomes redundant when we get the Green Card, if I understand correctly, so .. nice timing at least!

K-1 Visa: I-129F filed November 6, 2012, NOA2 May 17, 2013, Interview and Approval July 24, 2013

POE San Diego, September 13, 2013, Wedding October 25, 2013

AOS filed November 19, 2013, EAD/AP received January 30, 2014, interview and AOS Approval on February 27, 2014.

ROC filed December 3, 2015, NOA1 12/4/15, Biometrics 12/31/15, ROC Approval on June 16, 2016, 10-Year Green Card received June 22, 2016.

N400 filed September 14, 2023, same day acceptance and Biometric Reuse notice, Interview on 2/13/24: Passed and same day oath. ALL DONE WITH USCIS.

Well, good news on both fronts now, after the I-485 status updated to an interview date, today we got the online notification that EAD and AP were approved. EAD says card production, AP says Post Decision approval -- so it looks like we will have the EAD in hand before the interview, but only for about 3 weeks. Ugh! Think USPS might have gone for a walk with my EAP/AP Card...they picked it up on 17th and still hasn't been delivered.

Looks like I am calling USCIS on Monday to ask them to send another. FML!

On January 27, 2014, we mailed the new card directly to the address we have on file. You should receive your new card within 30 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283. idea9dv.gif
