Actually, it only means that your 129F went through someone's hands. This is a canned update msg because they don't apparently have one that references what they actually did with the application. Every time an application/petition is touched by anyone at the USCIS offices, that is logged in their system. This just generated this note. HOWEVER...reading your timeline, it appears you all did exactly what we did. I have since learned alot about the K3 process, which for the most part isn't happening. I contacted my congressperson here...they made in inquiry with the USCIS for a status on both my CR1 and K3 and were told that they have been pulled together and will be adjudicated at the same time. Good think the K3/129F app doesn't cost anything when it goes behind the CR1 or we'd all be out some money. I did ask my congressperson to reinquire as to why they are no longer processing K3 apps as was adopted in to law when these became available. this is a huge mess. We filed our 130 end of June. Their response to our inquiry was that "both of our applications will be adjudicated together in MAY". It appears they have officially time stamped us at 11mths. Hope that doesn't change again....when we started gathering our paperwork in Feb, the timeline was 6-8mths....by the time we filed it was 8-10mths (which is why we filed for the K3 behind the CR1 assuming it might jump start us). A month ago the timeline had jumped to 10-11mths, now they're saying 11-17mths. makes me sick to my stomach. there are people out here in the same line who are waiting for their turn.....many of who started this process at the same time we did, who didn't know it was going to take this long, who have children, pregnant wives, now lack of employment, women with lack of support and money to take care of their families because their husbands can't get here or have come back to the US and can't go back. Petitions have been signed by many members of VJ and sent to the House Judiciary Group (incl the Pres), I believe yesterday to make them aware of what this real picture looks like. I can't imagine this will make it easier for those of us in line now; might help those behind us. Takes alot more than alot of angry people to get them to move on something that is in such a mess as this is. There are literally hundreds of thousands of us in this line. Hang in there, don't give up. But plan around the timeline as best you can to take care of each other. DON'T follow VJ or the USCIS every day...it's gut whrenching and doesn't make it any easier. The timelines you're seeing here and on the USCIS website are 100% correct. Calling in to the USCIS for a status will do nothing but frustrate you more because they don't know where our petitions are...we're all in the same boxes waiting to be picked up by the next processor.
