DS 260 or DS 160 since both of them were written on my P4

Hi all,

So I've received my Packet 4 and got my appointment letter. My interview will be on the 19th Nov 2013. But what I'm still confused is that, upon reading the Additional Requirements in the Packet 4, they cancelled DS 260/DS 156/DS 156k/DS 157 and wrote "DS 260 Confirmation page" and "DS 160" instead (see pic)

Since I'm applying for a K-1 visa, this means I should only be completing DS 160 right? Considering K-1 visas are non-immigrant visas. And also perhaps the red underline on the "DS 160" tells me that I should be completing DS160 right?

Just need your confirmation

Because if I were to complete form DS 260, I might need to call NVC for my invoice ID number

Also I read from the circulating memo that:

-- You may not, under any circumstances, accept DS-260 Immigrant Visa Electronic Application forms for K visa applications.

Thanks all!

Thank you for posting your required documents here. It really helps....I believe DS 160 is only needed which is stated in the instruction letter.

Thank you! I believe that too, but since they hand-wrote both DS260 and DS160 there....its confusing!

It seems the instructions are for both immigrant visas and the K-1, which they tend to treat as an immigrant case. They probably have the one checklist for all 'immigrant' type visa applicants. They appear to have underlined in red what is required for you, the K-1 applicant. I notice they underlined that you need two photos, not just one, the DS-160 and the I-134 and not the I-864. It would be less confusing if they had a separate checklist for each visa type though.
