Well...........it's 9am Eastern time, I have already been to pick Atif up from his 3rd shift job, and he is now playing Monopoly with my 8 yr old son....the kid has never ben happier toay! :lol: At 6pm toay our son is in Christmas play at my sister's church, so we have to get there early.

g'morning.... i'm up! finally.... i went to a party last nite w/ some friends and it was really nice to see everyone there. it was an 80's theme and almost everyone but me dressed up! it was hilarious seeing all those outfits and hairdos from then. :lol: Anyhoo, I'm off to have brunch in awhile w/ the officiant for our ceremony to discuss things and hopefully get some of those details worked out. Otherwise, hoping to spend some good play time w/ the dogs today.

We're off to ANOTHER Christmas program that my daughter is in. She was in a childrens program at my parents church last week. Today is the adults Christmas contata and my daughter is also in that program with the adults. Here's a pic of my little angel last week along with my nephews. Don't let the costume fool you! :innocent:

good morning everybody...(almost afternoon) Hubster goes to work in about 1 hour and after that, I get to do laundry (the real laundry)... I have decided that I need to buy my son a few more toys for christmas. I've gotten him a couple of inexpensive electronic things but they aren't the same as toys...I think I can find some dollar store things he will be very happy with. We will see what the week brings....

My mom sent me a picture this morning that she took from her back patio. You can see that the mountains across the way are covered with snow. Pretty. :)

More baking today and my son has a birthday party to go to. They'll be seeing the movie Eragon. Looks like a good film and I guess I'll eventually see it, probably when it comes out on video.

Well Well Well..I was gone for 3 days, buried in tree branches, torrential rains, flooding, and no one missed me??? :blush:

For any of you who saw the major storm in SEattle.well that was ME!! I am still without power, and hot water, but my roommate found a generator and was able to at least get us heat. Internet is out all over the place. even places that have electricity don't have internet. I was lucky to be invited to a friend's house. She actually took in my whole family, parents and grandma too. So I have internet for the moment. Not sure how long we will be here. For where we live they are saying 4-7 more days without power!!! Yikes what a christmas. Oh well, for tonight we will have home cooked food and warm bed. So that was my excitement for the weekend..trying to survive!!! OK now to catch up on what you all did while I wasn't looking... :whistle:

For any of you who saw the major storm in SEattle.well that was ME!! I am still without power, and hot water, but my roommate found a generator and was able to at least get us heat. Girl, I *did* think of you when I heard abt all this weather Seattle was having.... I'm so glad you're ok and hope things return to normal soon. I pray that the power is on again soon. How miserable for you all. Makes me reminiscient of Hurricane Katrina when many of my friends in New Orleans came to stay w/ me for a while. They mostly thought it would be 2-3 days - some of them stayed as long as 2 months due to the flooding.
