Getting started on AOS package, have a few questions

Just like the titles says, I'm putting together my AOS package, and have a few questions here...

A) For the Affadavit of Support, my Fiance's mom is going to joint-sponsor me (or co-sponsor?) How far back do I have to go in terms of tax-returns and w-2s? I've heard somewhere that I need the past 3 years' tax returns, but the instructions led me to believe that I only need the past year's?

B) My fiance's meets the income requirement on her most recent tax return, but the year before that she does not. Will this be a problem?

C) My fiance's mother has qualified, and used, a form of income assistance called "The Vision Card" in 2011. Will this be an issue? (It's kind of like a form of food stamps provided by the state I think?)

Also, in regards to the I-131 form (the one for advanced parole), I followed the visajourney example, but I still have a few questions:

A) I don't have any intended travel date, and I'm filling the form out electronically. Should I just leave the intended travel date blank?

B) The visajourney example form leaves like, most of the form blank. Should I follow this example? I'm kind of confused about it, and I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with this form.

Thanks a ton in advance!

Stephen

Just like the titles says, I'm putting together my AOS package, and have a few questions here...

A) For the Affadavit of Support, my Fiance's mom is going to joint-sponsor me (or co-sponsor?) How far back do I have to go in terms of tax-returns and w-2s? I've heard somewhere that I need the past 3 years' tax returns, but the instructions led me to believe that I only need the past year's?

The joint sponsor, just like the primary USC sponsor, needs the Total Income amount from the last 3 years because the I-864 asks for this info. Only the most recent year's tax transcript needs to be submitted with the form.

B) My fiance's meets the income requirement on her most recent tax return, but the year before that she does not. Will this be a problem?

Does the USC sponsor make enough currently? That is what matters. If they meet the requirement with their current income, then no need for the joint sponsor. All 3 past years income from your tax returns do not have to meet the income requirement. If using a joint sponsor, it would not matter anyway.

C) My fiance's mother has qualified, and used, a form of income assistance called "The Vision Card" in 2011. Will this be an issue? (It's kind of like a form of food stamps provided by the state I think?)

If she makes enough current income for her household size plus the foreign spouse, then this is not an issue. This is not even something the I-864 form asks about.

Also, in regards to the I-131 form (the one for advanced parole), I followed the visajourney example, but I still have a few questions:

A) I don't have any intended travel date, and I'm filling the form out electronically. Should I just leave the intended travel date blank?

Leave them blank as you fill it out, then hand-write in "Unknown" for the date and length after printing it out.

B) The visajourney example form leaves like, most of the form blank. Should I follow this example? I'm kind of confused about it, and I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with this form.

Did you read over the form? Several parts do not apply to someone filing that form for AP > "If you are applying for a non-DACA related Advance Parole Document, skip to Part 7" So, you will skip from part 3 to 7. Also, since many do not catch this in the I-131 instructions, you do not need a statement explaining why you need/want AP.

Thanks a ton in advance!
