I would say that it's cheaper for USCIS to send a copy rather then printing it on the old style of papers. Saving money. I could be wrong but it makes sense to me lol.

Does anyone here know if you are allowed to invite people to the oath ceremony?

Yes, you are.

This does vary by local field office, of course, but as of this January, I know the Miami local field office was permitting would-be US citizens to have guests in attendance at their naturalisation ceremonies. They are not allowed in the actual room/hall where the cermony takes place, though and there is probably a limit on the number of guests per would-ve citizen who can attend.

So here my interview experience ... I got called in about 8.35 and she started the test right away ...1. Which war did we fight in the 1900..2 what's the name of the chief of justice..3. How many voting members in the house of representative ... 4.How long does a representive get elected ...5 when do we vote for president and who was the first president... After that we went to the application and now I have to wait to take the oath at 2 and be done yeahh

My interview was around 7.30 .iwas called around 7.40 buy a mexican american lady we went to the office and staright up to civic test .who veteos bills.what the capital of Texas. .whatsv the supreme law of the land..first president. I forgot abiut the others...after that we start going over my N400 app. Questining evrything was alright till she asked me to provide additional documents about a dwi that I had in 2009 which i had them with me (certified copie if police report and court disposition..) after she made a copie she made me sign my photo and the N652 interview result saying that a decision cannot yet be made about your application when I asked her she said that the dwi will not affect my application since its 5 years ago she just need to review it again and I have to wait 4 to 6 week befor I can expect oath ceremony letter in the mail* (I don't know if she was telling me the truth..) but I felt I still have hope to get approved since I was not denied right away.that's my story...

Sorry you couldn't get a decision right away, but as you said, it does sound as though you could be getting good news quite soon.soon.

To set your mind at ease, it is not as uncommon as you might think to be informed that "A decision cannot yet be made" on an N-400 petition; in many of these cases, an Oath Ceremony invitation letter arrives within a few weeks (the same as though you were recommended for aproval at the interview).

My interview was around 7.30 .iwas called around 7.40 buy a mexican american lady we went to the office and staright up to civic test .who veteos bills.what the capital of Texas. .whatsv the supreme law of the land..first president. I forgot abiut the others...after that we start going over my N400 app. Questining evrything was alright till she asked me to provide additional documents about a dwi that I had in 2009 which i had them with me (certified copie if police report and court disposition..) after she made a copie she made me sign my photo and the N652 interview result saying that a decision cannot yet be made about your application when I asked her she said that the dwi will not affect my application since its 5 years ago she just need to review it again and I have to wait 4 to 6 week befor I can expect oath ceremony letter in the mail* (I don't know if she was telling me the truth..) but I felt I still have hope to get approved since I was not denied right away.that's my story...

I am sure that you will get your approval letter. DId you specify about your traffic violtions on your N 400 application and sent the records?

First,congrats goldfee11,it must feel awesome to be very soon becoming us citizen...And kool its ok,you will get it,you were not denied..it will just be a last witing game...4 to 6 weeks is not the end of the world..cheer up!!!
