Hi DebbyNSeyi,thank you and congrats to you as well...i finally received the interview letter today and it's on May 5th,one day before yours...so,lets study and get this thing over with... immigration is really moving now.. i see a lot of interview dates on the timeline...i dont know how to add my dates to the timeline...any help ?

I am amazed. While we were on vacation last week, I was scheduled for the oath next week. A full 4 weeks earlier than the interview officer had indicated.

Hey guys

I just came back from my interview and wanted to share my experience here.

I was on vacation and just got back yesterday and had interview today. So I was pretty tired. I got to the office half hour before my interview and sat in a waiting room after checking in.

I was finally called and I was feeling pretty nervous. The officer was a lady http was not very friendly. She didn't even smiled at me or anything so thaT made me even more anxious.

She was very quick asking questions but I answered everything just as quickly so it wasn't a big deal.

After asking me about my job, address, date of birth, marital status, if I had children, previous marriages, Etc... She asked to see my husband's original certificate of Naturalization which I had with me, she asked me for my passport and asked when was the last time I was out of the country, which was yesterday, so she made notes on my application.

Every answer I gave her she would write it or check it with my application.

Finally she asked me if I was ready for my test and asked me six questions that she had on a piece of paper and I was giving her my answers she would write the answers on the piece of paper.

Since I got the first six question right, she stopped and made me sign the sheet. She also gave me a question to read out loud and gave me a sentence to write.

Then she gave me another piece of paper to sign, and finally she made me sign my application and 2 photos that I had sent with my application.

Then she proceeded to give me another piece of paper that said congratulations you have passed the English NAND civics test and told me if I had any questions. She then said to wait outside for about 30 minutes that I was going to be called and given a paper with the oath information and what to bring.

I said thanks and bye and waited in the waiting room until another person called my name and gave me a piece of paper. It was the oath ceremony date!.

I was so happy at that point because it said my oath ceremony is on Friday!.

I cannot wait to be over with the oath ceremony and finally receive my Naturalization certificate.
