Well Just got back from Kansas City, MO. Nadiia has been approved and now we just have to wait for her to take her oath, this will now all depend on USCIS on when in Kansas City,

MO the following dates are available April 11th or May 15th, but what would be best is

6 June because it will be done in Springfield, MO a mile from the apartment. She was in

her interview for 30 minutes.

Under civic test she was asked 6 questions, then under personal she was asked about where she has lived and messed up the address by putting it all in the wrong order even after 3 years, she has a cell phone but didn't know the number. Her main problem was the fact thatwhen she was growing up it was considered the USSR still so she was affiliated with the

communist Party but never was involved in it so she was asked about it (I Knew that would be asked).

In the end all that matters is she was approved. In 2 more years will have to do this one more time for my stepson but without all the extra paperwork.

P.S. I have problems with updating the information tried many times can someone please update that she was approved thank you.

AOS:

Green Card APPROVAL for wife and stepson 02/10/2011

Revd'd Green Cards for wife and stepson today 02/19/2011

My timeline gives all the information

Had the interview today here in Chicago.
The experience was quite pleasant actually. Check-in (1st floor first, then on the 3rd floor) was efficient at 5 and 1min waits. The seating area not overly crowded and was called in at the scheduled appointment time.
The officer was very open and friendly. The interview itself started with the typical oath to be truthful, then showed the IDs and we went right to the test. 6 questions asked and answered, a sentence to read and another to write. Passed.
Then onto the review of my file. He asked a few questions here and there (where did you meet your wife? did you file your taxes?), mostly about facts that were already in the application. In the end I did not need to show any of the extra documents I had brought (tax transcripts, birth certificates, &cet.). Sign the application. Lastly he printed out a form with the information that will show up on the naturalization certificate.
Total interview time 16mins.

Almost done!

Same here for your peace of mind go to track it and see how others are doing at your local office... According to what I've seen I am supposed to get it any minute now since people who applied a week before me already got it and in the trackit timeline I'm next so I guess it should be later this week or early next week tired of waiting though inline since 2/19

Getting a little worried here. My last update was from Jan. 13 for being in line for interview...still no update after that :clock:

NY offices seem to be fairly erratic. Hang in there ! It should be just around the corner

I'm in the same boat and in NYC. I was put "in line" on Jan. 20th. Haven't heard anything yet. I think we probably have the slowest office of these United States. Never thought I'd be this anxious about the whole process!
