I would say that it's cheaper for USCIS to send a copy rather then printing it on the old style of papers. Saving money. I could be wrong but it makes sense to me lol.

they do the oaths on Tuesdays Thursdays and Fridays....so if u are done with the interview by noon u have the oath on the same day...if I see it right ur interview is on the Wednesday so u probably have to go back to the oath:-(

On the USCIS website says i was scheduled for interview on February 28th. However, i still have not received the actual letter in the mail. Getting impatient here!. Hope i get it this week!

You probably will. If it was normal first-class mail, you should have received it last week in all likelihood, but USCIS must use some kind of mail powered by starved, sickly, poorly-trained rodents. I swear the first-class mail I send never takes that long to get to its recipient.

Timeline:

2005-04-14: met online

2005-09-03: met in person

2007-02-26: filed for K-1

2007-03-19: K-1 approved

2007-06-11: K-1 in hand

2007-07-03: arrived in USA

2007-07-21: got married, yay!

2007-07-28: applied for green card

2008-02-19: conditional green card in hand

2010-01-05: applied for removal of conditions

2010-06-14: 10-year green card in hand

2013-11-19: applied for US citizenship

2014-02-10: became a US citizen

2014-02-22: applied for US passport

2014-03-14: received US passport

LOL! I agree Shub. When i sent a regular letter it takes about 2-3 day to end destination by First Class mail. I am not sure if USCIS sends the letter out the same day they schedule you, but if they did, they truly send it by snail mail.

LOL! I agree Shub. When i sent a regular letter it takes about 2-3 day to end destination by First Class mail. I am not sure if USCIS sends the letter out the same day they schedule you, but if they did, they truly send it by snail mail.

I am pretty -- but not completely -- certain that my interview letter was actually postmarked on the date my case tracking status said they sent me the letter (December 31). Still took over a week to arrive.

Timeline:

2005-04-14: met online

2005-09-03: met in person

2007-02-26: filed for K-1

2007-03-19: K-1 approved

2007-06-11: K-1 in hand

2007-07-03: arrived in USA

2007-07-21: got married, yay!

I was schuduled for interview on Feb. 11, but my interview letter was mailed on Feb. 12, Recieved my mail Feb. 20. They probably mailed yours March 1st, but then that's Saturday, so you should get it this week.
