Hello everyone!

So glad that we are all finally at this end of our immigration journey. I am about to send off my packet as well. Can anyone please clarify if the tax transcripts is sufficient as a proof of filing since that is what they seek out for in the first place or do I need to include other stuff? Also is it a must put the 2 passport size pics in a zip loc? Thank you all.

You need to include what they ask for on the instructions. I filed on 3 year marriage rule and included exactly what they ask on the instructions. Nothing more, nothing less.

My check to USCIS was cashed today December 5. Now i am awaiting my NOA. Question for those who know: Do the NOA have the case # that i should enter on the USCIS site to track your case?.

Yes the case number will be in the NOA. IT will be something like NBC*00000000000000. Remember to enter the NBC* too in the uscis website.

I am looking through the cover letters and it seems to me that there are a couple things missing that the M-477 Document Checklist says you need if it is for Naturalization on basis of marriage to U.S. Citizen after 3 years a copy of one of the following documents of the US Citizen either Birth certificate, Certificate of Naturalization, Certificate of Citizenship, inside front cover and signature page of Passport or FS-240 Report of Birth Abroad of a US citizen. Then a copy of the marriage license. I would list this on the cover letter too. I will be sending my wife's packet on 6 Dec 2013. Good luck with everyone's final step.

I have received a text message today from USCIS saying that they have mailed a receipt notice (form I-797) and then it says that my case has been routed to the National Benefits Center. Is this standard procedure?. I thought the case was going to be handled and processed by the offices in Texas, where i sent my package.

Also, there is a NBC and a number in the text but when i input the number on the text on the USCIS website , it says invalid number. Should i just wait for the NOA to come in the mail?.

Yes I did entered my case number like I said on my post but it says invalid number so I'm thinking it takes a while to the number to appear on the site

Also, I got a text because I filed a form which I forget the name of right now that is a form you have to file in order to receive texts and emails with updates on your case status

Hello Again Everyone,

The Part 11 section of the questions as per the instruction on USCIS site It says one should sign one's name in full and that it must be legible. My question is should I just sign my regular legal signature which is the combination of 2 of my names or I should print my full name again in the front of the signature? Many thanks.

Ok finally got some real news about my returned packet. The mail room said they mailed it out on 27 November. The officer is trying to see if they put a tracking number on it and is going to call me back. If i knew they didnt mail the packet out the same day when they get sent back then someone could have just walked to the mail room the first time i called on monday (25 Nov) and just picked it up.....so my packet sat in the rejected pile for almost a week....by mistake......Using the USPS estimator a 1lb letter size package takes 7 days to ship from nebraska to my zip code. Taking Thanksgiving into account that would be today or tomorrow....... Please if your religious everyone pray i get it today.... so i can mail it back and it get there on monday.
