My question was how do I know if my application is in queue for an interview...?

Oh, well if you check your status online, it will actually say something like you were placed in line to be scheduled for an interview. That is different from actually being scheduled for an interview, which is the next step.

You should see that you are in the "Testing and Interview" stage on the USCIS dashboard. You will also receive an email and text message (if you signed up for them) telling you that you are "in line to be scheduled for an interview."

And that is how you know whether your "application is in queue for an interview."

Got a test message and email, that I have been schedule for the interview. My guess the actual letter will be here within a couple of days. will post the date once I get it. But something tells me it is going to be somewhere within the third or fourth week of next month. Because, Orlando Field Office schedules them about a full month from the notification.

I see that some filers for december starts already recieving thier interview s letter i wish all of them a good luck and hope for others and me to get ours soon.Peace to middle east.

Hi guys, just joined the amazing community and at first glance,i have to say that this site is well organized an the community is very knowledgeable. I am a January 2014 filer ( jan 06 ) and i will try to post my timeline. .And thank you to mimigrant for starting this.. Btw my 3-year-anniversary was feb 15, and i have been inline for interview since jan 29..i can't wait for that interview letter to come...lol

I hope i also get my interview letter this week. I was pt in line for interview on January 31 and still have not received the letter yet. I did receive the yellow letter though.

Hi gringasuramerican,i haven't received any yellow letter since jan 29 that i have put inline for interview. Maybe they don't need anything for me since i sent them more than what they've asked me..or they are just slow at my DO...
