Got the yellow letter in the mail yesterday asking me to bring in driver's license and tax transcripts to the interview. I had listed that I had gotten a speeding ticket, the yellow letter stated that I had been arrested and to bring in my arrest record. I don't have any arrest record and the ticket was only for $80. What should I bring in with me for the interview? Do I need to bring proof I paid the fine?

It was also asking for tax form 1772. Are these the same as my tax transcripts that I sent with my original application? Where can I get these records?

So i was place in line for interview today, my 5 years anniversary is the 7th of march so one month before i was place in this is what the notice uscis.com said and i did get and email fyi for others.

On February 7, 2014, your N400, APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION was placed in line for interview scheduling. When scheduling is complete, you will receive a notice with a time and place for your interview. If you have not received the notice within 90 days of the date above, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for further assistance. Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address.

Yes, IRS form 1772 is the old name for the free tax transcripts you already submitted. USCIS still uses the old name for whatever reason.

If you kept the originals and sent copies, just bring the originals to your interview. If you no longer have the originals, re-order them. Now you can get them mailed and wait for them OR download them immediately as PDFs, which is nice.

So jealous of (but just as happy for!) all the peeps who have already been scheduled an interview! I'm still patiently waiting!

I also just received a yellow letter asking for my driver license. Does this mean they overlooked my past minor traffic tickets that I didn't really mention in my application? I'm still pretty anxious about that part of my application.

Got a text this evening to say that I've been scheduled for interview! Anyone know how long it takes for the letter to arrive once you've been scheduled?

Didn't get text are email but i check uscis.com and this is what i saw so i guess i just of to wait on the letter to see the date and time of interview.

I think next months' thread hasn't been created yet, so here it is - for all of us excited and eager to celebrate the ending of this long journey on a good note and stress-free.

I am filling N-400 form in December for fife years being live in USA, Do I have to send a copy of my three years ago filling tax ? and copy of my credit cards and debit cards plus car loan paper work? is that necessary?

I have just been through the N-400 process my qualifying date was 12/2/2013. My appointment was 1/8/2014 and received my Citizenship certificate on 1/15/2014.

I sent 3 years tax records, I did not send any credit card or loan paper work,

I'm not sure on the tax issues- did you send in 3 years of tax proof? I also had a fine and noted it on my application and got the yellow letter. I was concerned about it because it was more than 3 years ago and I pulled my Motor Vehicles records from work and the fine did not show. My fine was for not coming to complete stop when turning right on red. $100. So I went to the interview on 1/8/2014. They run through all the questions that you fill in on the N-400 confirming what you put on the form and when she got to the fine question, she could see that I wrote on the form that it was just a fine. she asked about it and I told the story and she moved on.
