One month today after my biometrics and still no change online for my status. It does not show "in line for interview" yet. I am so impatient.

I understand that impatience feeling. I'm impatient as well. I have been waiting for almost a month since my interview for my oath but until today nothing at all.

I would say that it's cheaper for USCIS to send a copy rather then printing it on the old style of papers. Saving money. I could be wrong but it makes sense to me lol.

I was checking on the November filing and there was a lot of schedule interview for February I hope we can start seeing our interview date.

Just came back one hour ago from a week work trip abroad... no news here and no new date for bio from them. I could do a walk in biometrics tomorrow but I am absolutely drained from this trip, might just wait for them to resend (for those who don't know my bio was scheduled on a federal holiday and the office was closed, duh).

Also, I prefer to wait a bit to study as I'm busy with work things now. Oh well... good luck to everyone.

Done today - 05/09/14! It's been a long journey... that I was more than ready to be done with it...

N-400: (Eligibility criteria: 5 years) - took 4 months, 27 days (148 days)
12-13-13: Eligibility Date
12-13-13: Application Sent

12-17-13: Received/Priority Date
12-19-13: NOA Date
12-20-13: Check Cashed
01-02-14: Bio Letter Sent Date (long time... not a good idea to send application before holidays...)

01-07-14: Bio Letter Rcvd'
01-20-14: Original Bio Date -- duh. they booked me on a Federal Holiday and the center was... closed.
03-07-14: Actual Bio Date (walk-in)

03-11-14: In line for Interview

03-12-14: Interview letter
04-17-14: Interview - Passed. Phew!

04-23-14: Oath Ceremony queue | scheduled (both at the same day)

04-26-14: Got Oath Ceremony letter in mail

05-09-14: (Friday) Oath Ceremony. Done! + Applied for US Passport Book & US Passport Card (expedited)

05-23-14: (Friday) American Passport Book received (via Priority Mail) after 2 weeks

05-27-14: Received back original Naturalization Certificate + American Passport Card in the mail (weirdly did not receive USPS tracking notifications for that)

Finally!

I was placed in line today for interview scheduling!. Now i am even more impatient!!. I cannot wait to get this over with.

Weird that i did not get any e-mail or text about this, even though i signed up for email and texts alerts. i found out because i checked my status online on the USCIS website

According to this so... the theory seems to be true. I was placed in line exactly 1 month from my anniversary date as i have seen other people place in line a month to either before their 3 or 5 year anniversary.

One step closer!. I hope Miami gets to moving because i know it is one of the busiest local offices. However, checking on track it, most people complete their cases within 4 months.

I hope to be done by April.

Looking at the trend of the previous filers, longer you wait for getting in-line quicker you get the interview letter. Hope this comes true for you as well :)

Thanks! I know, I was surprised too, when I compared it to other timelines... I don't know if you noticed from my other thread, but I even had the problem of having the biometrics scheduled on a federal holiday... But I'm still on track, on schedule.

Looking at the trend of the previous filers, longer you wait for getting in-line quicker you get the interview letter. Hope this comes true for you as well :)

Thank you ! . I hope so too. Hopefully I will receive my interview letter soon. Question: when do you get the interview letter?, how long do you have time-wise til the actual interview takes place ?. I would think they would give you at least a month right?.

I am waiting for my interview letter to start studying the manual they gave me for the civics test.

I was thinking the same but I only had like a week notice lol. So I've been studying everyday. Even though I was given the option of choosing my dates I had to choose one of the soonest to allow me enough time to get a passport before March.

Thank you ! . I hope so too. Hopefully I will receive my interview letter soon. Question: when do you get the interview letter?, how long do you have time-wise til the actual interview takes place ?. I would think they would give you at least a month right?.

Hi Everybody! I am new to the forum and was reading all your stories and progress!

I was wondering though how some of you mention you receive a text or email. Do we have to sign up to get that? Or are they pulling the phone # and email address from our N400 form to text and email us.
