Hey guys - happy 2014 and 2014 citizenship

Question: can I do an early walk-in tomorrow or Friday without having received the biometrics letter yet? (I do have the case number) I start a new job next Monday (yay!) and wouldn't like to be late to work in the next week or two doing the bio :/ I want to focus on the new job and not to have to explain those things so early on...

You need the letter for the bio appointment, No doubts.

How many days after NOA do people get the bio letter usually? - we only put the bio date on the list so it's hard to tell...

I got mine less then 2 week's after acceptance and the biometric was due 2 week's after receiving. If you didn't get iti urge you to make an infopass and see what's going on.

Thank you! They accepted my application on Dec. 17, so I guess I should have gotten it yesterday (31st). But due to Xmas and New Year, perhaps it will take a few more days.

I got mine less then 2 week's after acceptance and the biometric was due 2 week's after receiving. If you didn't get iti urge you to make an infopass and see what's going on.

mimigrant you would need the bio letter for early walk-in. You should be receiving bio letter any day since app was accepted on 12/17

I went to get my biometrics done today in the Miami office. There were quite a few people there but everything was pretty fast , moved along really well and very organized. You definitely need to show your Appointment letter along with your green card.

Then after the person took my fingerprints, he told me i would hear something by mail. I also picked up the booklet there to study for the test.

Now the real waiting begin, waiting to be put in line for interview. Will keep you posted.

Done my early walk-in today for biometrics. Was in and out in 15 minutes. Took my biometrics, photo, and filled out a customer satisfaction card and was finished. They handed me a study guide and my biometrics appointment sheet with the red processed stamp on it. Since im already in line for an interview im keeping my fingers crossed for my interview letter this week or next

FYI there's a really cool app for iPhone that is called us citizenship and flash cards I really like it because you can even put your rep on there and even now and then they will ask you local questions like the capital of your state the name of your senator and rep is really cool there's also one for android but it doesn't have the local questions...
