I would say that it's cheaper for USCIS to send a copy rather then printing it on the old style of papers. Saving money. I could be wrong but it makes sense to me lol.

We are planning to do the same with our biometrics. We will go home tomorrow and I hope the letter will be there (fingers crossed). They mailed it on the 24th so maybe that should be enough time right? Either way, the day i recieve it is the day we will walk in lol. ^_^

I've been watching the time lines from November filers and I am afraid that those like me who applied within the 90 days early file period takes longer I get in line for interview in fact the only thing done before the 3 or 5 year anniversary date is the fingerprint somewhere around the anniversary they put you inline for interview and the date of the interview is usually after your anniversary date...

Hey barker family look at this http://www.trackitt.com/usa-immigration-trackers/n400 if you look at the Nebraska service center your process is way faster than other centers you can have it all done very very soon

Tell me about what I've seen it might be couple days after the anniversary date not too far it still takes less than 5 months total closer to 4 than 5 am on the same boat my anniversary date is march 19 and my patience is none

Yeah i hear you. If its in March it won't be that bad. I sure hope so because my field office is Miami and it is one of those offices that takes a while because of the high number of cases and applications they have to process.

Fingers crossed everything will be finished before July 2014.

waooo, this is really Fast! You sent the application on Dec 02...that is under a month for receiving, clearing FP, and line for interview. Thus, my guess, based on the data I have seen all over, your interview notification should be not later than a month away.

Hey guys - happy 2014 and 2014 citizenship :)

Question: can I do an early walk-in tomorrow or Friday without having received the biometrics letter yet? (I do have the case number) I start a new job next Monday (yay!) and wouldn't like to be late to work in the next week or two doing the bio :/ I want to focus on the new job and not to have to explain those things so early on...

Done today - 05/09/14! It's been a long journey... that I was more than ready to be done with it...

N-400: (Eligibility criteria: 5 years) - took 4 months, 27 days (148 days)
12-13-13: Eligibility Date
12-13-13: Application Sent

12-17-13: Received/Priority Date
12-19-13: NOA Date
12-20-13: Check Cashed
01-02-14: Bio Letter Sent Date (long time... not a good idea to send application before holidays...)

01-07-14: Bio Letter Rcvd'
01-20-14: Original Bio Date -- duh. they booked me on a Federal Holiday and the center was... closed.
03-07-14: Actual Bio Date (walk-in)

03-11-14: In line for Interview

03-12-14: Interview letter
04-17-14: Interview - Passed. Phew!

04-23-14: Oath Ceremony queue | scheduled (both at the same day)

04-26-14: Got Oath Ceremony letter in mail

05-09-14: (Friday) Oath Ceremony. Done! + Applied for US Passport Book & US Passport Card (expedited)

They will not allow you to do early biometrics without the Letter. At least the one near me wont. And when i done early walkin last time the first thing they ask me for was the biometrics letter.
