That's what everyone asks me!! You're from London, why the hell would you want to live HERE?!

Well, yes in truth, we would have preferred to stay in England, but circumstances didn't work out that way.

Give me California over London anyday!!!! I love England don't get me wrong but I just love everything about Cali (ok not everything!) I can't wait to go back!

As for insanity - I think all my friends thought I was mad and that it'd never work once I got home - 6 months later and stronger than ever thankyou

Roshons mum was kinda like 'you've met a little white girl from England ' but he eventually took me to meet her she liked me (phewww) now she calls me more than him! All his friends and family I think thought it was just a casual thing (*cough*not one to commit normally) but after they realised we were glued together and one didn't come without the other - everyone couldn't be happier for us!!

I told my parents I'd met someone.....and i think they were just like ok whatever (again thinking it was a casual thing) then I said 'surprise we're coming for spring break' they were like ok so its serious...... We came back to sunny old England for a week (mad I know) and they fell in love with him immediately!!! They couldn't be happier - they think the world of him! My dad calls him his son (huge deal coz my dad is not a people person and is hard to please - especially when it comes to his little girl ) so for us things couldn't be better - we've got 100% support from both our friends and families!! We are really lucky!

When I talk to people I've just met about it they are amazed and just love the story!! I also think they think I'm insane!!! I can tell most new people think it'll never work - but who cares about them (it doesn't help that most people think I'm about 17 when i'm nearly 23)!!!!

I guess to the outside world we do come across insane don't we!!! Moving across the globe to be with someone, leaving everything behind etc or marrying a foreigner (which no offense but many americans have no idea what they are!) does kinda sound like some over the top movie!!!!

I think everyone ( including families) thought we were crazy and " really needed to get out more... "

His family was scared in the beginning, that I was maybe " his imaginary friend " or "something of Jerry Springer " and my family were just like this

But that was back in 2003. Since then ( obviously) he has met my family often, and I his.....Now they all realize how hard we have worked and how much we love eachother!

In the end-finding someone who loves you for you-and remains committed to you and your relationship ( despite how difficult/lonely/frustrating it is at times being apart) is the most important thing-not HOW you met!

The older ( more old fashioned) members of our families and friends have realized that now!
