I gotta agree with Gary = This is a current events forum...the current event dominating the recent news is the debacle = the ACA.

If O's administration wasn't constantly screwing up - Gary wouldn't have a half dozen articles to post every day.

Additionally, there is no doubt more than a handful of O supporters & O downers participating in this forum. This forum welcomes discussion. Reviewing Gary's threads = quite a bit of discussion going on = Gary's a VJ team player. I say - party on Gary.

(I suspect some of the complaints about Gary's threads are motivated by - just cover my head with a blanket & all the bad will go away but Gary makes me look at O's failures every day & it hurts! It really hurts!...or something like that)

I think his posting behaviour amounts to spamming. The Mods should address this more urgently than backbiting between members.

A single thread on the ACA would be sufficient for all of the talking points in these articles.

The troubles with the ACA are unfolding. I think it would be difficult to have only 1 thread as a catch all...but I suppose ...1 thread and add the new news as it comes in...? Is that your thinking?

We don't need 5 or 6 Obamacare posts every day at 5am, do we?

I am awake, having coffee and scouring the news @ 4-5 every morning. This forum has become a regular stop on my surf. I usually find a few articles I didn't catch already or at least...some1 like Gary has organized them in several threads = makes my search more efficient.

What happens to the ACA is important to me. The more info the better.

Organizing all articles in one thread would create an obstacle = read through various posts to get to the next article.

Of course talking about ACA is important. But we have multiple threads started every. single. day and many of them end up having the same discussion as all the others. There's got to be a better way to organize it so it doesn't flood the front page of the forum.

Not every article merits its own discussion and having a single thread on a topic is pretty standard on other sites. That usually means that you can have an actual discussion on the topic, rather than the current situation which is for one or two people to use each article for the exercise of partisan poo throwing.
