NOA2 -- does it say goes to NVC

Hi: I just received my NOA2 snail mail. in the body it says the petition has been approved and forwarded to the "listed consulate." I am a bit unclear. I thought it was to go to the NVC. Thus, my question, has everyone else's said the same thing but really it goes to the NVC??? Or has everyone else's said goes to the NVC?

If it says it went to the consulate, then thats probably where its going. Mine said it was going to the NVC. If you are unsure, call the NVC and ask them.

Ya, unless you are granted expedited processing, then your NOA2 goes direct to the consulate, and the NOA2 says that. Normally, the NOA2 does not say your case is being forwarded to the consulate, it clearly states its going to the NVC. If the NOA2 states specifically that its going direct to the consulate, my bet is, thats exactly where its going to go.

Apparently a few other people have received their NOA2 stating their case is going to the embassy. There is a thread someone in the "NVC" forum - take a look. Either way I'm pretty sure everything has to pass through the NVC. It is pretty fast though.
